Care-Of-Rosacea-Skin

The best way to care for Rosacea skin is to use only gentle and all natural skin care products.

How Do You Know You Have Rosacea?

Rosacea affects fair-skinned people of north-western European descent, both men and women. It appears in women about 3 times more than men. It is known as the 'Curse of the Celts'.

It appears as red, blotchy spots mostly on your cheeks and nose, sometimes on your forehead. It can be irritating, itchy and sometimes swells.

Acne is not Rosacea. Rosacea appears to look like acne at times. But the blackheads and whiteheads of acne do not occur in Rosacea. However you can have both acne and Rosacea.

Rosacea can not be cured. It can be controlled with the daily skin care routine above. Rosacea is a skin disease.

One of the triggers is hot spicy foods.

If you have Rosacea you must watch your diet. As you pay attention to what you are eating you will notice certain foods have more of an effect on your Rosacea than others. Care-Of-Rosacea-Skin starts from within.

Especially do not smoke or drink alcohol.

Keep a log of what you eat on a daily basis. Jot down when your Rosacea flares up and check to see what you have eaten in the past 48 hours. Then eliminate what that was and see if you get relief.

Daily Cleansing Schedule For Your Rosacea Areas

Cleanse your face both day and night with a gentle facial wash. Contact me if you can not find one that is all natural by filling out the contact form on this page.

Avoid using Toner on the areas of your face that have Rosacea. Toner is a very important step in your facial cleansing program but you can not use it on your Rosacea areas as it will irritate and dry the skin there. You can use the toner on the rest of the face that is not effected by Rosacea.

Use a good natural eye cream that is all natural making sure you are not applying any of it on the cheeks, nose or forehead if that is where your Rosacea is.

Apply an all natural moisturizer with a SPF in it of 30 or preferably below. An SPF of 8 or 15 should be fine for going to and from work and doing errands.

Do this routine in the morning and at night repeat the same procedure but instead of the day moisturizer use a natural night creme if you are over the age of 29. I would highly recommend a night cream containing anti aging ingredients including anti oxidants.

Avoid sun bathing and tanning beds. Windy weather will chap and be painful so try to stay out of really windy and dry weather. Try to stay away from weather extremes. Too cold and too hot tend to aggravate Rosacea conditions.

Do not use over the counter Acne products on your Rosacea areas of the face. These products will irritate the Rosacea and not for Care-Of-Rosacea-Skin.

Make sure that none of your skin products contain SD 40 Alcohols.

This Care-Of-Rosacea-Skin has helped many of my friends along with a healthy diet.
